Summer is a little bit special this year. With the COVID-19 pandemic, the cancellation of summer seminars, and the Dojos being closed, it will be difficult for all of us to practice.

If things are now going much better in Japan, we understand that the situation is still extremely difficult in many countries, and we still believe that it isn't time, yet, to resume the celebrations of our 10th anniversary. 

For now, and because many workshops in Japan are still struggling with too few orders to stay alive long, we've made a selection of products for which a slight raise in orders would help the workshops. Of course, we made a selection consistent with the season: lightweight Dogi, Hakama, Samue, bags, Iaito, Setta, those products will help you to stay fresh in this heated period.

Logistically speaking, things are getting better. We reopened express shipments almost worldwide and we are now able to deliver the vast majority of our customers. Japan Post shipments reopened in a dozen countries, but not yet for the United States. For that last one, we are eagerly waiting! 

All our team is back at the office, we are now operating (almost) as we were before the lockdown, but we are still very concerned by the situation in and out Japan, and you can be sure we will be fully prepared in case of a second wave. 

Finally, we would like to thank you once again for the outstanding support you gave us during those difficult times. Stay safe and take care of yourself and of your loved ones as much as you can!

June report

June has been a busy month. After 3 consecutive months of significant loss - that we were able to absorb - June has been a fairly good month, similar in sales to June 2019.

In addition to sales almost back to normal, we also had to ship dozens of packages to various destinations as they were reopened by various carriers. This took quite a while! We also started shipping with a new FedEx service, for which many adjustments had to be made, but it's all set now, and we're back to our lightning fast logistic (order preparation AND delivery) high end standards.

Regarding our products, we have several new items that we should be able to publish soon, stay tuned!

On the side projects end, we finished the publication of the Kobudo demonstration videos from the last All Japan Kobudo and are now working in a new project involving a special guest (can you guess who?).

Also, don't forget, we have an Instagram account on which we publish photos and videos regularly, as well as a Twitter account.
