この鍔は、最も有名な侍である宮本武蔵の名を冠する鍔です。武蔵の使ったいくつかの刀の鍔に、この鍔があることから、武蔵の名が付けられました。純日本製。

Nicely produced Musashi style Tsuba
Really nice repro piece which faithfully adheres to simplicity. Well worth a little extra over cheap knock-offs.

Nice design but poor casting
The design was let down by the casting. It seemsnthatbthebcast was offset by 1/4 mm leaving a large ridge line on the inside of the tsuba. It should have been sanded out prior to patina

This is a Tsuba originally designed for Iaito, so it is indeed of lower quality than a handmade Tsuba designed for Shinken, with for main goal to limit the cost of an Iaito.

That being said, there is the Minosaka 'Sukashi' series, that is made with much higher standards, also available on our website.
